Floral lace trims the borders of this extraordinary soft shawl from Shuja Ahmed, an artisan from Kashmir, India. This lightweight  shawl is woven of a rich wool and viscose blend featuring subtle diamond patterns known in Kashmir as chasm-e bulbul.

    How to measure your size for a Dress

    Bust
    Measure under your arms and around your torso at the location where your bust is at the fullest.

    Waist
    While keeping the tape comfortably loose; measure around your natural waistline. Loose tape is important as you don’t want to buy a dress that is too tight. 

    Hip
    While keeping your feet close together, measure carefully around the fullest part of your hips. 

    Length
    Measure from your collar bone to where you want the hem of the dress to be. Dresses come in a range of lengths, from short to long. For example if you want a knee high dress, measure from collar bone to your knees.

     

    Sleeve
    For sleeved dresses measure from the side of your neck, along your shoulders and down your arm to the wrists (long sleeved) or from top of the shoulder to midway to your elbow (short sleeves). Of course some dresses have various sleeve lengths, from very short sleeves to ¾ lengths etc. So be sure to pay attention before purchasing.

    Shoulder Width
    Measure from the start of your collar bone to the edge of your shoulders.

     

    Jackets & Coats

    Bust (or chest width)
    Measure under your arms and around your torso at the location where your bust is at the fullest.

    Waist
    While keeping the tape comfortably loose; measure around your natural waistline.

    Hip
    While keeping your feet close together, measure carefully around the fullest part of your hips.

    Length
    Start from the bottom of your neck at the collarbone and measure all the way down to the desired location of the hem (bottom) of the jacket.

    Sleeve
    Starting at the lowest part of the side of your neck, carefully measure across your shoulders all the way down your arm till you reach your wrists. It is recommended to give your sleeves a little extra length from this measurement.

    Shoulder Width
    Measure from the start of your collar bone to the edge of your shoulders.

     

    Measuring for shirts or blouses

    Bust
    Measure under your arms and around your torso at the location where your bust is at the fullest.


    Waist
    While keeping the tape comfortably loose; measure around your natural waistline.

    Length
    Start from the bottom of your neck at the collarbone and measure all the way down to the desired location of the hem (bottom) of the shirt/blouse.

    Sleeve
    Starting at the lowest part of the side of your neck, carefully measure across your shoulders all the way down your arm till you reach your wrists.

    Shoulder Width
    Measure from the start of your collar bone to the edge of your shoulders.



    How to measure for your skirt size

    Waist
    While keeping the tape comfortably loose; measure around your natural waistline.

    Hip
    While keeping your feet close together, measure carefully around the fullest part of your hips.

    Length
    For Skirts that are waist high: starting from the side of your waist, measure down the outside of the leg to where you wish the bottom of the skirt to be. For Skirts that start at the lower waist: measure from the highest part of your hips (lower waist) then follow down the leg till you get to where you wish the hem of the skirt to be located.

     

    Jeans, leggings and shorts

    Waist
    While keeping the tape comfortably loose; measure around your natural waistline.

    Hip
    While keeping your feet close together, measure carefully around the fullest part of your hips.

    Length
    Starting at your waist (waist high jeans), lower waist (regular jeans) or just above the hips (hipster jeans) carefully measure along your leg to your ankle bone.

    Thighs & Calves
    Measure the widest part of your thighs and calves on both legs and always give yourself a bit of extra room so they’re not too tight. Same as calves but obviously this will not apply to shorts

    Inseam
    Measure from the top of the inside of your leg at the crotch to the ankle bone (full length).

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will be responsible for paying the return postage.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
